Meet Savanna, Registered Interim Physiotherapist 👋🏼

I grew up in Seattle, WA, and made my way up north to Vancouver in 2013. Here, completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. During those 4 years of school, I quickly realized the incredible opportunities BC had to offer and knew then and there I was never leaving! I then completed my Master of Physical Therapy at UBC and solidified this place, I am so grateful to call home.

For many years I knew I wanted to become a physiotherapist. I loved the idea of helping others and the ability to empower people to optimize their health. During my undergrad, I was involved in women’s health rehabilitation where I started to foster this skill. Once I began my Master’s degree, I discovered a keen interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and knew this was a field I wanted to pursue.

Working as a pelvic floor physiotherapist is something I am incredibly passionate about. I believe all women should feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. My approach is to create a safe place for people to share about their pelvic health and deliver comprehensive treatment focused on education, exercise, and manual therapy. My aim is to provide clients with a solid foundation of knowledge and awareness of their bodies and to work together to achieve their goals pre and post-natal. I want to help women feel empowered as they navigate their journey and instill confidence in what their bodies can do. I am beyond excited to be a part of the Bump team and help support women in doing what they love.

Outside of the clinic, you can find me running the Seawall, scaling the neighboring North Shore mountains, or exploring local coffee shops. I have also recently discovered a love for baking and am always looking for new recipes and kitchen hacks to try out!
