Kirstin graduated from SFU with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation in 2017. During her undergrad degree, she completed three co-operative education semesters, two of which were spent in a physiotherapy clinic in an occupational rehabilitation program. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working with occupational rehab, ICBC and personal training clients.
In January 2019, Kirstin started teaching group physio classes with Bump Physio and Lift Fitness. This started to grow her passion for women’s health, and it has only expanded. She values using evidence-based practices to help her clients achieve their physical goals and believes exercise truly is medicine.
She has taken a Soft Tissue Release Level 1 course and has seen the benefit to integrating active releases with activity to help manage pain and recover from injury.
When she’s not in the clinic, Kirstin enjoys a good cup of coffee, reading, yoga, hiking, skiing and soccer!
